14. Garbsener Citylauf

The 14th Garbsener City Run on June 12, 2026, is Garbsen's largest sporting event and offers races for all age groups and performance levels. There are six different races, from a parent-child run over 500 meters to the Agon Tax Run over 10,000 meters. The routes lead through the town hall square, the IGS grounds, along Meyenfelder Straße, and by Berenbosteler See. The event is family-friendly and emphasizes fun and community, supported by an engaged organizing team and numerous volunteers.

Number bib distribution on June 11, 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00 at Garbsener Sport-Club 67 e.V. and on the day of the event from 14:30 in the town hall. Changing rooms and showers are available at the IGS. For timed races, there is an award ceremony and medals for all participants. Certificates can be collected on-site for a fee or printed later free of charge. Late registrations on the event day are possible for an additional fee of €3. Multiple race categories taking place throughout the evening offer broad participation for hobby runners and families.
