Zeiler Waldmarathon

The Zeil Forest Marathon takes place on 14 November 2026 in Zeil am Main and offers challenging running routes through the Haßberge Nature Park. The course runs mainly along paved forest paths, following a varied route over Schlossberg and Bischofsheimer Höhe and past several lakes. Events include the marathon, half marathon, and walking/Nordic walking over 21.1 km and 7.5 km. The event is organised by TV 1884 Zeil and features professional timekeeping with an integrated chip.

Start and finish at the Setzbachbrunnen in the Zeil am Main running park. Timekeeping with an integrated chip. Marathon runners can switch to the half-marathon course after one lap. Parking is available at the indoor swimming pool and school car parks, as well as the Tuchanger car park, with a city bus transfer. Race number collection is at the school on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Showers and changing facilities are available in the school gym. There is no baggage storage in the start/finish area. Free buses run every 5 minutes from the school building to the start line. The course runs almost entirely along paved forest paths in the Haßberge Nature Park. Aid stations are available every 5 km. Race numbers include a chip. Parking is available at the indoor swimming pool and school car park, and showers and changing facilities are available in the school gym. Medals are awarded to all participants after the race, and a free bus transfer is available.
