XTrail Breitnau

XTrail Breitnau is a versatile running event in the Hochschwarzwald that brings runners and Nordic walkers of all age groups together for a day. Four different events are offered: the popular XT-Run, with half-marathon and 10 km distances; the XT-Walk, with 12 km and 8 km distances; the XT-Challenge, an obstacle sprint for age groups U8 to U20; and the XT-Kids run for the youngest participants. The courses cross varied terrain, with trails, steep climbs and panoramic views, and include an attractive race pack and professional timekeeping. The event is organized by Skizunft Breitnau e.V. and takes place on June 27, 2026.

Race-number collection on event day from 08:00–11:00 and 12:30–13:45 at the fire station. Race numbers for XT-Kids and XT-Challenge are issued in sets for each club. Participation conditions and equipment requirements must be observed; for example, trail-running shoes with profiled soles for RUN and Nordic-walking poles for WALK. Refreshments are available on the course and at the finish. Participants receive a personal digital certificate; XT-Kids finishers receive a medal. Exclusive trophies and prizes are awarded to overall and age-group winners. Late registration is possible for a fee until June 26 at 18:00, and on event day until one hour before the start.
