XTrail Breitnau

The XTrail Breitnau is a versatile running event in the Hochschwarzwald that brings together runners and Nordic walkers of all ages in one day. Four different races are offered: the popular XT-Run with half marathon and 10 km routes, the XT-Walk with 12 and 8 km routes, the XT-Challenge as an obstacle sprint for age groups U8 to U20, and the XT-Kids race for the youngest participants. The courses lead through varied terrain with trails, steep ascents, and panoramic views, and offer an attractive starter package as well as professional timing. The event is organized by the Skizunft Breitnau e.V. and takes place on June 27, 2026.

Race bib distribution on the day of the event from 08:00-11:00 and 12:30-13:45 at the fire station. For XT-Kids and XT-Challenge, bibs are issued as sets per club. Participation conditions and equipment requirements must be observed, e.g., trail running shoes with profile sole for RUN, Nordic walking poles for WALK. Nutrition is provided on the course and at the finish, personal digital certificate, finisher medal for XT-Kids, exclusive trophies and prizes for overall and age group winners. Late registrations with fee are possible until June 26 at 18:00, and on the event day until one hour before start.
