Wilstermarsch Lauf

The Wilstermarschlauf is a traditional running event in Wilster, taking place for the 34th time on September 19, 2026. The event offers various distances for children and adults, including 400 m, 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km, through the scenic Wilstermarsch. Alongside the sporting competition, a varied program featuring games, bouncy cushions, a DJ, a barbecue stand, and refreshments provides entertainment and a welcoming atmosphere for participants and spectators. The race is part of the Steinburg Cup and attracts several hundred runners each year, supported by numerous volunteers.

The Wilstermarschlauf includes several races for different age groups and distances, including children’s races from 400 m, a 2 km children’s race, 5 km and 10 km races, and 5 km walking. There is an extensive program featuring bouncy cushions, a DJ, a barbecue stand, refreshments, and a photo wall. Around 40 volunteers support the event, which is part of the Steinburg Cup. Prizes and vouchers are raffled among participants, and the 33rd women to finish receive anniversary gifts. Registration is planned for spring 2026. The event is part of the Steinburg Cup and offers a family-friendly day with entertainment for everyone involved.
