Weezer Staffellauf

The Weeze Relay Race has been held annually in mid-September since 1985 in Weeze and has established itself as a popular relay race with up to 250 participating teams. The course runs on a 5 km loop along the scenic Nierswanderweg. The race offers various relay categories, including Bambini, school children, and standard relays, attracting runners of all ages. The athletics department of TSV Weeze organizes the event with great commitment and looks forward to numerous participants in 2026.

The 40th Weeze Relay Race will take place on September 26, 2026. Registration details and application process will be announced at the end of July. Up to 250 teams have participated in previous events. The 38th Weeze Relay Race in 2024 recorded 32 Bambini teams, 36 school relay teams, and 55 standard relay teams finishing. Participants can register online until the end of July 2026; the event also includes student and community competitions as well as on-site catering.
