Wallenstein-Halbmarathon

The Wallenstein Half Marathon is a traditional community race around Altdorf near Nuremberg, taking place on July 26, 2026. The half marathon course runs through the picturesque Schwarzachtal with stunning views and includes roads, bike paths, and forest trails. In addition to the half marathon, there is a 12 km hobby run and a family-friendly 5 km course for runners and walkers. The event offers well-organized infrastructure with refreshment stations and an attractive start/finish area in the sports park of TV 1881 Altdorf. The city championship for the half marathon and 12 km course is also held and awarded by the mayor.

Start and finish at the sports park TV 1881 Altdorf (Heumannstr. 5a). Refreshments with isotonic drinks and water at several stations. Free entry for all finishers to the outdoor pool, sponsored by the Altdorf municipal utilities. City championship and team competitions will be held. Scenic route through Schwarzachtal, team competitions, family-friendly 5 km, race day logistics and amenities at Sportpark Altdorf.
