Wallenstein-Halbmarathon

The Wallenstein Half Marathon is a traditional fun run around Altdorf near Nuremberg, taking place on July 26, 2026. The half-marathon course runs through the picturesque Schwarzachtal valley, offering wonderful views, and includes roads, cycle paths, and forest trails. In addition to the half marathon, there is a 12 km fun run and a family-friendly 5 km route for runners and walkers. The event offers well-organized amenities, including refreshment stations and an attractive start/finish area at the TV 1881 Altdorf sports park. The city championships for the half marathon and 12 km race will also be held, with prizes awarded by the mayor.

Start and finish at the TV 1881 Altdorf sports park (Heumannstr. 5a). Isotonic drinks and water available at several refreshment stations. Free admission to the outdoor swimming pool for all finishers, sponsored by Stadtwerke Altdorf. City championships and team competitions will be held. Scenic route through the Schwarzachtal valley, team competitions, family-friendly 5 km, race-day logistics and amenities at the Altdorf sports park.
