VW - THIEL Rheda-Wiedenbrücker Staffelmarathon

The VW - THIEL Rheda-Wiedenbrück Relay Marathon is a traditional relay marathon taking place on July 5, 2026, in the castle and rose garden in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. The flat, well-maintained course runs over a two-kilometer loop through the historic castle park, which is to be completed 21 times. The event is organized by LG Burg Wiedenbrück, which has been hosting this relay marathon since 2013 and has built an engaged running community. The relay marathon offers runners an attractive and varied running route without disruptive street crossings in a beautiful park landscape.

The relay marathon consists of 21 laps of 2 km each, run in the castle park in Rheda. The course is flat and free of street crossings. Registration is possible online.
