Volkslauf Rund um den Disibodenberg

The Disibodenberglauf is a long-standing fun run around Disibodenberg in Odernheim, taking place for the 38th time in 2026. The scenic course combines flat sections along the Glan with a challenging climb on the Eselspfad, which defines the character of the race. Events include 5 km and 10 km runs, walking on the 5 km course, and children’s and youth races from 200 m. The event has a sporting yet family-friendly focus, with special prizes for records, families, teams, and Walk-&-Talk groups. The awards ceremony and social gathering take place in the sports hall, with coffee, cake, and grilled food.

Children’s training runs take place on three Tuesdays in September from 18:30 at the sports hall. The entry fee is paid when collecting race materials. Special prizes are awarded for new course records, the most running-loving family, the largest team, and the happiest Walk-&-Talk group. The awards ceremony takes place in the sports hall, where coffee, homemade cake, and grilled food are available at fair prices. A running event with varied terrain, parking, changing rooms, and showers on site; a popular community event in September.
