Volkslauf Rund um den Beerster See

The Volkslauf Rund um den Beerster See is a running event for participants of all ages and abilities, held on the third Sunday in August in Bad Bederkesa. The course passes through a natural setting and offers a motivating challenge for both competitive runners and recreational athletes. The event promotes community and the joy of being active, making it a special experience for both race participants and recreational runners. The start and finish are in Kurpark am Kanal, and timing is by transponder.

Race packs are distributed in the Amtsscheune opposite the castle. Showers are available at the Moortherme upon presentation of your race number. Timing is by transponder, which must be returned after the race. The cut-off time for the main races is 1 hour 45 minutes. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Course distances: 7.6 km; hiking, walking and Nordic walking: 1.1 km, 0.5 km and 14.6 km. Race packs are distributed in the Amtsscheune. The event takes place in all weather conditions.
