Race description
The Volkslauf Rund um den Beerster See is a running event for participants of all ages and skill levels, taking place on the third Sunday in August in Bad Bederkesa. The course runs through a natural environment and offers a motivating challenge for both ambitious runners and hobby athletes. The event promotes community and joy of movement and is a special experience for both competitive participants and recreational runners. Start and finish are located in the spa park at the canal, and timing is done with a transponder.

Race documents are issued at the Amtsscheune opposite the castle. Showers are available at Moortherme upon presentation of the start number. Timing is done with a transponder, which must be returned after the race. The cut-off time for the main races is after 1:45 hours. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Course length 7.6 km, walking, Nordic walking 1.1 km, 0.5 km, 14.6 km; race documents at the Amtsscheune; in all weather; timing with transponder.
