Usedom Beach Marathon - 6. Juni 2026

The Usedom Beach Marathon is Germany’s first beach marathon and takes place on June 6, 2026, on the island of Usedom. The races run exclusively on sand along the Baltic Sea coast, with no asphalt or road traffic, offering a unique nature and running experience right by the sea. Choose from the marathon, half marathon, 10 km short distance, or marathon relay. The event combines a sporting challenge with a special beach atmosphere and a professional program in the finish area in Ahlbeck.

The marathon has a time limit of 7 hours (finish cutoff at 16:00). After the time limit, course support and refreshments are no longer provided. The relay consists of 5 legs, with at least 3 runners per team, and categories for women’s, men’s, and mixed teams. Start areas are in Zinnowitz, Koserow, or Ahlbeck, with a shared finish area in Ahlbeck. The finish area hosts a professional program with entertainment and information from 10:00 to 18:00. Run on sand, no asphalt course, start and finish areas in Zinnowitz, Koserow, or Ahlbeck, refreshments, medal, certificate, and shuttle transfers included.
