Taunussteiner Waldlauf 30.7

The Taunusstein Forest Run is a long-established running event that has attracted around 700 runners to the scenic forests and hills of the Lower Taunus every year for over 30 years. The main 15-kilometre course offers a demanding challenge, with varied terrain and around 250 metres of elevation gain. Shorter distances of 5 and 2 kilometres are available for beginners and children, making them ideal for getting a taste of competition. The event stands out for its varied scenery and lively programme in the finish area.

Start and finish at Gesamtschule Obere Aar (Pestalozzistraße 3, 65232 Taunusstein). Race-number collection from 07:30 in the cafeteria of IGS Obere Aar; runners are advised to collect their numbers at least 40 minutes before the start. The time limit for the 15 km race is 2:30 hours. All finishers receive a medal. The fastest men and women in each distance receive prizes, which are awarded only on race day. Participants in the 2 km race take part in a raffle. Showers and changing facilities are available on site. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Walkers are welcome and are classified separately, but receive no prizes. On-site late registration is available for a €2 fee. Results and certificates are available online. Refreshments, cake, grilled food and drinks are available in the start/finish area. The event is family-friendly, welcomes walkers, and offers refreshments and drinks in the finish area.
