Race description
The 8th Kreissparkasse Limburg Taunus-Trail-Run is a nature-oriented trail run that predominantly takes place on natural field, forest paths, and single trails in the Selters-Eisenbach region. The course may include muddy and slippery sections depending on the weather, making the run particularly challenging. The long-distance race is highly valued by the regional trail community. The event offers electronic timing, a pre-race briefing, and an award ceremony after crossing the finish line.

Additional information
The event takes place in all weather conditions. Late registrations are possible up to 60 minutes before the respective start, but without a guaranteed starting place and with a 1€ surcharge. Bib number distribution, changing rooms, showers, drinks, and catering are available on-site at the sports field Eisenbach. All participants receive a finisher sausage or a vegetarian alternative. Timing is conducted electronically by RaceR. An emergency vehicle from the German Red Cross (DRK) is stationed in the finish area. The event is officially registered with the Limburg-Weilburg Athletics District and the Hessian Athletics Association. The event will be held on June 27, 2026, with start and finish points in Selters-Eisenbach. The event is organized on a volunteer basis and emphasizes the autonomy of runners through GPS-supported navigation. It is recommended to plan overnight stays in the region.
