Taunus Trailrun

The 8th Kreissparkasse Limburg Taunus Trail Run is a nature-focused trail run that takes place predominantly on unpaved field and forest paths and singletracks in the Selters-Eisenbach region. Depending on the weather, the course may include muddy and slippery sections, making the run particularly challenging. The long-distance course is highly regarded by the regional trail-running community. The event offers electronic timing, a pre-race briefing, and an awards ceremony after the finish.

The event takes place in all weather conditions. Late registration is possible until 60 minutes before each start, but without a guaranteed place and with a €1 surcharge. Race-number collection, changing rooms, showers, drinks, and refreshments are available on site at Eisenbach Sports Ground. All participants receive a finisher sausage or a meat-free alternative. Timing is provided electronically by RaceR. A DRK vehicle will be stationed in the finish area. The event is officially registered with the Limburg-Weilburg Athletics District and the Hessian Athletics Association. The event takes place on June 27, 2026, with the start and finish in Selters-Eisenbach. It is organized by volunteers and emphasizes runners’ independence through GPS-assisted navigation. Booking accommodation in the region is recommended.
