SUNSET Wattenmeer

The Altra Sunset Wattenmeer is an extraordinary relay race covering approximately 250 kilometers from Hamburg-St. Pauli to St. Peter-Ording. The route passes through the Wadden Sea National Park UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers breathtaking natural scenery, idyllic towns, and marshland with a sea breeze. The event lasts more than 24 hours and challenges teams of 5 or 10 runners to complete the course together. Start times are assigned according to the average pace submitted, and digital maps are provided before the race.

Participants must be born in 2010 or earlier (Ultra teams: 2008 or earlier). Team sizes: 10-person teams (3 legs per runner) or Ultra 5-person teams (6 legs per runner). 5 Pack teams are paired with a similar 5 Pack team. Team categories are assigned automatically when members are entered (men, women, diverse, mixed). 10-person teams must arrange 2 vans as team vehicles; 5-person teams must arrange 1 van. Start times are assigned according to the average pace submitted. The event lasts more than 24 hours. Digital maps are provided before the event.
