Race description
The Suderburger Evening Run is a mass participation event for the whole family, held annually in June in Suderburg since 2022. The races take place across the heath landscape and the surrounding forests of the Lüneburg Heath on sandy and weatherproof forest and farm roads. In addition to traditional individual competitions, there is also a relay race over 3 x 1.9 km. The start and finish are located at the sports field on Tannrähm, and the event is experiencing increasing participant numbers.

Additional information
There are seven races ranging from 500 m to 20 km in different age groups. Late registrations are possible on race day up to 30 minutes before the start for a late registration fee of €4.00. Changing and shower facilities are available at the start/finish. Refreshments with soft drinks are provided at the finish as well as water stations on the longer routes. The event is not a traditional athletics competition but a mass participation event for all age groups. Races take place on wooded, hilly paths in the Lüneburg Heath; online registration; changing and shower facilities available; refreshments at the finish; weather-independent event.
