The Südeichsfeldlauf in Diedorf is a traditional running event that takes place in all weather conditions. It offers various competitions, including a half marathon of 21.1 km with 445 meters of elevation, a large run over 11.3 km, and a small run over 5.9 km. There is also a Bambini run and a school run for children. All finishers receive medals, and the top runners are honored with trophies and certificates.
