Race description
The Steinhart500 is a climate-neutral marathon taking place on November 8, 2026, in Steinfurt. The course runs through varied terrain with a special focus on environmental protection, including planting trees as CO2 offset. From 28 kilometers, flexible tickets are available, allowing runners to shorten the distance during the race and still be officially timed. Since 2022, there has also been a shortened 7-kilometer loop, ideal for beginners, offering a challenging but manageable course with 50 meters of elevation gain, including a demanding hill leading to the Finnish track.
