Steinhart500 - KLIMANEUTRAL

The Steinhart500 is a climate-neutral marathon taking place on November 8, 2026, in Steinfurt. The course runs through varied terrain with a special focus on environmental protection, including planting trees as CO2 offset. From 28 kilometers, flexible tickets are available, allowing runners to shorten the distance during the race and still be officially timed. Since 2022, there has also been a shortened 7-kilometer loop, ideal for beginners, offering a challenging but manageable course with 50 meters of elevation gain, including a demanding hill leading to the Finnish track.

All tickets from 28 kilometers are flexible, allowing for a reduction in distance during the race. The event is climate-neutral, with particular attention to waste reduction and minimizing environmental impact from travel. The 7 km loop has been introduced since 2022 and leads left under the B 54 underpass to the Finnish track, featuring a hill that presents a challenge for beginners. Registration opens on September 1, 2026. Flexible tickets are available, with no refunds for non-participation. Changes may occur in case of force majeure.
