Race description
The Steinenberger Waldlauf is a traditional running event set in picturesque woodland near Rudersberg. It offers a range of distances, from a 2 km race for schoolchildren to a half marathon, suitable for competitive runners, families, and beginners alike. The event features challenging, varied courses with some hilly terrain and is designed as a family-friendly summer sporting event. Each participant also supports local clubs and institutions with a donation.

Additional information
The races start in staggered waves, with the main races at 9:00 a.m., followed by Nordic walking and children's races. A new 5 km fun run with less elevation gain is available for young people aged 16 and over. €1.00 per participant is donated to local clubs and institutions. The 2 km schoolchildren's race is free, but registration is required. The event is designed as a family festival with sporting activities for all age groups.
