Spargellauf

The WERNER Spargellauf in Deinste is a 5.5 km relay race that takes place annually and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Teams of five runners run together through the asparagus fields, with an asparagus stalk serving as the baton. The race is suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to professionals, and fun is the main focus, as the winning team is drawn by lot. In addition to the race, there is a culinary mile with regional specialties and a family program with a bouncy castle and other attractions. For the anniversary, a special running shirt is offered, and a large after-show party takes place.
