Sonnefelder Wald-Cross-Lauf

The 5th Sonnefeld Forest Cross-Country Run takes place on June 4, 2026, in Sonnefeld. It offers runners of all abilities an appealing event in scenic surroundings, on field and forest paths. Events include an 8.3 km main race with 110 metres of elevation gain, a Nordic walking competition on the same course, and a 1.7 km student race. The event is open to competitive runners, Nordic walkers, and young athletes, and is held under official athletics regulations. Food and refreshments, showers, and changing facilities are available, and all finishers receive a medal.

Showers and changing facilities are available at the sports clubhouse. Sports drinks are free in the finish area. Sustainable prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group in the main and student races, and to the fastest woman and man in Nordic walking. Finisher medals for all races.
