Race description
The Silvesterlauf Schifferstadt is a long-established running event held annually on December 31 at the School and Sports Center on Neustückweg. The flat, fast courses follow paved and compacted paths and finish in the stadium, where spectators can watch the runners cross the line. Alongside the main race, there is also a mini run for children, catering to the growing number of participants. The event is approved by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and attracts runners of all ages.
Highlights
- Flat, fast courses on paved and compacted paths
- Finish in the stadium, with the course adjusted to ease congestion at the bottleneck
