The Berlin New Year’s Eve Run on December 31 gives runners the chance to end the year on an active note. The event offers three different distances (4 km, 6 km and 10 km) through the scenic Grunewald, with challenging sections such as Drachenberg and Teufelsberg rewarded with great views over Berlin. Alongside the sporting experience, fun takes centre stage, particularly with the option to run in costume and prizes for the best costumes. At the finish, all finishers receive a delicious Pfannkuchen as a sweet keepsake to hang around their neck.

The start and finish are near Mommsenstadion (Waldschulallee 34, 14055 Berlin). The race pass and race number will be sent by email in advance. Race materials can be collected on site from 10:00 a.m. on the event day. Timing is provided by a disposable transponder attached to the race number. The time limit is 1 hour 30 minutes. Water, tea and Pfannkuchen are available at the finish. Only reusable cups are used. Changing facilities are available at Mommsenstadion, but there is no bag drop. Results and certificates are available online that evening. Distances vary between 2, 4, 6 and 10 km; a run for all age groups; start and finish at Mommsenstadion; refreshments include Pfannkuchen, with awards for the top finishers and the most original costumes.
