Silberberglauf

The 41st Silberberglauf on June 6, 2026, offers runners and walkers varied routes around the Silberberg near Ilmenau. With distances of 21.1 km, 11 km, 6 km, as well as children's runs over 2.5 km and 0.6 km, there is something for all age groups and performance levels. The event is part of the Sparkassencup Saalfeld-Rudolstadt and the TLV-Cup and promises a sporty atmosphere with catering, medals, and award ceremonies. The children's sports festival in the afternoon rounds off the family-friendly event.

Race bib distribution on race day from 07:30 to 08:45 for main races, children's runs from 14:00. Last-minute registration on-site until 08:30 for main races and until 14:40 for children's runs. Catering at the routes and at the sports field, changing facilities, toilets, finisher medals, and certificates. Using poles is mandatory for the 11 km route; running with poles is prohibited. Baby joggers, dogs, and bicycle accompaniment are not allowed for safety reasons. All routes close at 13:00.
