Race description
The Silk Worm Cross in Krefeld is one of the most interesting cross-country races in North Rhine-Westphalia, organized in a family-friendly atmosphere. Runners can expect challenging courses over 6.5 km and 16 km through Krefeld's largest nature reserve, the Hülser Bruch, featuring steep climbs, fast downhills, and a stunning natural landscape. In addition to the main races, there are also children's races at the Hülser district sports facility. The event offers a varied and natural running experience suitable for both beginners and experienced runners.

Additional information
Start for hikers, walkers, and Nordic walkers at 10 a.m. Registration is open until one hour before the race. The course lengths are approximately 6.5 km and 16 km, which can also be walked. The children's races take place at the sports facility on Hölschen Dyk. The event supports social projects annually. Trail and cross elements, routes on forest and hiking trails, start and finish at the Hölschen Dyk sports field, registration until one hour before the race.
