Sechs Stunden Urwaldlauf

The Six-Hour Jungle Run in Saarbrücken is a unique running event where participants can run as many laps as possible within six hours on a 1.85 km course through the jungle just outside the city. The route combines wide forest paths with idyllic single trails and offers a challenging experience with 46 meters of elevation gain per lap. The event emphasizes mutual respect among runners and environmental protection, supported by a sustainable catering concept and CO2 offsetting. The start is flexible from 10:00 AM, and the finish is at 4:00 PM, allowing everyone to set their own pace and breaks.

Race number pickup from 9 AM on-site. Flexible start time from 10 AM, with the event ending at 4 PM. Participants are advised to bring their own reusable cup to avoid waste. Catering is centrally located at the Jungle Hut Neuhaus with water, isotonic drinks, and runner nutrition. Single-use cups are not allowed on the course. Participant limit is 350. Team scoring with identical team name spelling. Organizers and volunteers work on a voluntary basis. CO2 emissions are offset. The event includes catering, showers, medical support, and an environmentally friendly system with personal reusable cups.
