Sauerland-Höhenflug-Trailrun

The Sauerland Höhenflug Trail Run is a popular running event in Sauerland, taking place on June 14, 2026. The event offers various course lengths from 0.4 km up to the half marathon, running through the diverse landscape of Sauerland-Höhenflug. The trail run is open to runners of all ages and performance levels and is organized by the Skiclub Hagen-Wildewiese e.V. in cooperation with Sauerland Tourism and the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park. The event is part of the Volksbank-Sauerland-Laufcup and features a special sprint classification on the last 200 meters of the longer courses.

The trail run includes multiple age groups and distances, including children’s runs, youth races, and main courses. Timing is provided by RaceResult through Time and Voice. The final times for the half marathon are limited to 3:15 hours. The event is part of the Volksbank-Sauerland-Laufcup 2025. Late registrations are possible on-site, with an additional fee of €3.
