RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf

The RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf will be held for the 43rd time in 2026 and is organized by Lauftreff Schafhauser Wald e.V. in Dunum, Lower Saxony. The event is supported by Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG, Aurich, and offers runners and walkers of all ability levels a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The routes pass through the beautiful Harlinger landscape, with the start and finish in Dunum. In addition to the Volkslauf, walking and Nordic walking options are available, along with an extensive photo and results archive from previous years.

The event includes various distances: 10 km Volkslauf (2 laps), half marathon, 5 km Volkslauf, 7.5 km walking, and Bambini and schoolchildren's races. The start and finish are in Dunum, and the routes are available as interactive maps. The running group's training sessions are on Mondays at 19:00 and Wednesdays at 18:00, meeting at the NIGE sports ground or, from September, at the stadium on Peldmühle. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals. The event takes place in June, with officially homologated courses for official performance records. It supports the German solidarity system in sport and is aimed at runners of all ages, including children and young people.
