RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf

The RVB Harlingerland Volkslauf takes place in 2026 for the 43rd time and is organized by the Laufreff Schafhauser Wald e.V. in Dunum, Lower Saxony. The event is supported by the Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG, Aurich, and offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for runners and walkers of all performance levels. The courses lead through the beautiful Harlinger landscape with start and finish in Dunum. In addition to the Volkslauf, there are also walking and Nordic walking options as well as an extensive photo and results archive from previous years.

The event includes various distances: 10 km Volkslauf (2 laps), half marathon, 5 km Volkslauf, 7.5 km walking, and children’s and youth runs. Start and finish are in Dunum, and the courses are available as interactive maps. Training times for the Laufreff are Mondays at 19:00 and Wednesdays at 18:00, each meeting at the NIGE sports field or stadium at Peldmühle from September. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals. The event takes place in June, with official, homologated courses for official performance records. It supports the German solidarity system in sports and is aimed at runners of all ages, including children and adolescents.
