The Rothaar Forest Run organized by TSV Aue-Wingeshausen is a popular and scenic forest run in the Rothaar Mountains, taking place on October 3, 2026. The event offers various distances, including loop courses and point-to-point runs, appealing to both ambitious athletes and hobby runners. The races are part of the Rothaar Run Series AOK-Cup, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Start times vary depending on the distance, e.g., 13:30 for the main race. There is a bus transfer from the Aue-Wingeshausen gymnasium to the start points of the long distances (15km and 28km). Race documents can be picked up shortly before the start at various locations. Showers and changing facilities are available at the gymnasium. Late registrations are possible up to 30 minutes before the start at the start points. The event is part of the Rothaar Run Series AOK-Cup celebrating 25 years.
