The Oesterweg Fun Run and Firefighters’ Race in Versmold offers a varied running program for all ages and ability levels on June 12, 2026. From short, free Bambini and schoolchildren’s races to an officially measured 10 km road race and a 6 km team and firefighters’ race, there is something for everyone. The flat, paved courses run through the town center, with spectators providing plenty of encouragement. Walkers can also enjoy a scenic 6 km route through the countryside at the same time.
Highlights
- Flat, paved courses through the center of Oesterweg
- 10 km loop with four identical laps plus an introductory lap
- 6 km laps for the team and firefighters’ race and walking
Additional information
The Bambini race (450 m) and schoolchildren’s race (1.2 km) have no entry fee. The schoolchildren’s race is for participants up to age 11 in the standings; the fun run is for those up to age 15.
