Oberwaldlauf

The Oberwaldlauf is a race held every year on the third Saturday in October, with 5 km and 10 km courses through Karlsruhe’s Oberwald forest. The courses are officially measured and approved by the German Athletics Association, making results eligible for ranking lists. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, refreshments, changing rooms and showers, as well as a varied program for all participants. The start and finish are near the TUS Rüppurr clubhouse, which is also used for race-bib collection and late registration.

Race-bib collection and late registration from 13:00 to 14:00 in the tent by the garages behind the clubhouse. Free water, tea and bananas for all runners in the finish area. Toilets, changing rooms and showers in the basement of the clubhouse and at the nearby Eichelgartenhalle. Waffles, coffee, cake, drinks, fries and bratwurst available during the event. From 13:00, there will be a mobile play area with a bouncy castle and a refreshment stand. Courses on asphalt and forest trails, family and youth races, refreshments in the finish area
