Race description
The Oberwaldlauf is an annual race held on the third Saturday in October over 5 km and 10 km through the Oberwald in Karlsruhe. The courses are officially measured and approved by the German Athletics Association (Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband), ensuring the possibility of record listings. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with catering, changing rooms, showers, and a varied program for all participants. Start and finish are located near the clubhouse of TUS Rüppurr, which is also used for bib number distribution and late registrations.

Additional information
Bib number distribution and late registration from 13:00 to 14:00 in a tent behind the garages near the clubhouse. Free water, tea, and bananas at the finish area for all runners. Toilets, changing rooms, and showers are available in the basement of the clubhouse and in the nearby Eichelgartenhalle. During the event, there will be waffles, coffee, cake, drinks, fries, and sausages. From 13:00, a mobile play area with a bouncy castle and a stand area with catering will be available. The courses include asphalt and forest paths, with family and youth runs, and catering at the finish area.
