Obermosel Trail

The Obermosel Trail celebrates its premiere on May 31, 2026, in Wasserliesch. The event offers varied routes through the impressive landscape of the Obermosel, suitable for ambitious trail runners, hobby runners, walkers, and youth. The distances range from 5 km to 33 km, with the 5 km, 10 km, and 20 km routes also available as walking options. Start and finish are at the Wasserliesch sports field, and the event emphasizes well-marked courses, refreshment points, and medical support.

Number pickup begins at 9:00 AM at the Wasserliesch sports field and ends 30 minutes before each start. A mandatory briefing takes place 15 minutes prior to each start. The event concludes for all participants by 7:00 PM. Refreshment points with drinks and fruit are available along the course and at the finish area. Carrying a mobile phone is strongly recommended. Dogs are not allowed. Switching to another distance is possible, but no refunds are given for switching to a shorter distance or non-participation. The bib number is personal and must not be transferred. Travel options include train, bicycle, or car; parking is available but the parking lot directly at the sports field is closed on the event day. Multiple routes are offered, including youth races and walking options; start and finish are at the Wasserliesch sports field; registration runs from March to May 2026.
