Nordholzer Windmühlenlauf

The Nordholz Windmill Run is a long-standing running event in Wurster North Sea Coast offering various distances for children, young people and adults. The courses follow measured road routes officially recognised by the German Athletics Association (DLV). There are also hiking and walking options open to all age groups. The event has a family-friendly atmosphere, and every participant receives a medal and certificate.

Race-pack collection from 14:00 at the clubhouse at Willi-Wicke Sports Ground. Timing is by transponder, loaned with the race pack (20 euro fee if not returned). Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available at the start/finish area. The Bambini run is free, and accompaniment is permitted but not timed. The 5 km race counts as the district championship. Late entries are possible up to 1 hour before the start for an additional fee. Every participant receives a medal and certificate; walkers and hikers receive a certificate of participation. Courses are measured; timing is by transponder; changing rooms, showers and toilets are available; district championship on the 5 km course.
