New Balance KÖ MEILE 2026

The New Balance Kö Meile is a unique running event on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee, taking place on September 6, 2026. It offers runners of all abilities a running party with plenty of atmosphere, music, confetti, and a special setting in the heart of the city. The event includes various races over 5 km, the mile (1,609 m), and children’s and youth races. The course is officially measured, paved, and certified by World Athletics, making it eligible for rankings. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or taking part in your first race, the shared running experience is what matters most.

The 5 km races are divided by target finish times to prevent lapping. A limited edition of event performance shirts is available to order only when registering. The Elite Mile for women and men, as well as the REHACARE Inclusion ½ Mile, are invitation-only races. Late registration is available until race day for an additional fee, subject to the participant limit.
