Maare Mosel Lauf

The Maare-Mosel-Lauf is a scenic trail race in the Eifel, taking place on 29 August 2026 in Gillenfeld. The course passes mysterious maars, rugged rocks and gently rolling hills, offering runners a unique nature experience with wonderful views. There are three main distances for beginners and experienced runners, as well as age-appropriate children’s races. Alongside the sporting event, participants can enjoy an attractive programme of live music and award ceremonies.

Late registration is available on site for an additional fee of €5. Race packs will be mailed to participants who register at least 7 days before the event; otherwise, they can be collected from 15:00 on race day at the school in Gillenfeld. There will be a varied programme of live music and award ceremonies from 19:30. The races take place on the grounds around the Gillenfeld primary and secondary school. Three distances to choose from, including a 5 km route at the Pulvermaar; a scenic race with elevation gain; online registration available.
