Lauf zwischen den Meeren

The Run Between the Seas is a unique relay race that takes participants as teams from Husum on the North Sea to Damp on the Baltic Sea. The 92.2-kilometer route is divided into ten stages that pass through the diverse landscape of Schleswig-Holstein. Besides individual performance, the focus is on the team effort. The race not only connects the coasts but also the people of the region and offers a special running experience for both recreational and elite athletes.

Start is at the harbor in Husum (Ship Bridge). The fastest teams require approximately 5 hours and 10 minutes to reach the finish around 2:15 PM. The race materials can be sent by mail or picked up on specific days on site. There is a clothing transport and bus shuttle service. The event includes a pasta and runners' party. The route passes through ten exchange points with distances between 6.9 and 11.5 kilometers.
