Laacher See Naturlauf mit 21. VR Bank Cup

The Laacher See Naturlauf with the 21st VR Bank Cup is a traditional fun run held annually in Maria Laach by the Laufgemeinschaft Laacher See e.V. The race takes place on 20 September 2026 and gives runners of all ability levels the opportunity to experience the scenic route around Lake Laach. The event is part of an active club community that also offers running courses and training groups for beginners and those returning to running. LG Laacher See looks forward to welcoming runners for a sporting and community-minded experience.

The club offers a running course, “From 0 to Around Lake Laach,” for beginners and those returning to running. It starts in spring and concludes with participation in the Laacher See Naturlauf in September. Regular group runs take place on various days of the week, with groups organised by ability level. Club membership is not required to take part in the running course. Distances: 200 m, 8.5 km; no aid station on the course; mindfulness exercises before the start; an environmentally friendly event subject to strict environmental requirements.
