Kreismeisterschaft und 3. Halloween-Crosslauf im Örtzetal zu Munster

The District Championships and 3rd Halloween Cross-Country Run in the Örtzetal in Munster is a cross-country event taking place on October 31, 2026, at Sportpark Osterberg in Munster. The event combines the District Cross-Country Championships with the third Halloween Cross-Country Run and is open to children, young people, open categories and masters. Distances range from 500 metres to 10 kilometres, offering a local, club-oriented atmosphere rather than the feel of a major city race. The race takes place in the autumnal Örtzetal region and is a popular seasonal event organised by Eintracht Munster.

The event was postponed due to bad weather and incorporates the District Championships into the Halloween Cross-Country Run. Typical October weather is around 14 °C, with mostly cloudy skies and an average of 40 mm of precipitation. The event uses a cross-country race format, has a local character, is open to children, young people, adults and masters, and takes place on Halloween with weather-dependent adjustments.
