König Ludwig Lauf - Sommeredition

The King Ludwig Run - Summer Edition is Bavaria's most beautiful panoramic run in the Ammergau Alps. The event offers varied courses from 6 km to 21 km, passing through the picturesque nature of the Ammergau Alps Nature Park. A free shuttle bus transports participants to the start in Ettal, and the event is ideal for trail and landscape running enthusiasts. The family-friendly atmosphere and well-organized framework make the run a special experience.

Registration and bib pickup are available at the start in Ettal on Saturday from 07:00 to 09:15. Online registration closes on the Wednesday before race weekend at 00:00. Parking and stops are available. The region is accessible by car, bus, and train. Airports in Munich, Memmingen, and Innsbruck are nearby. The run takes place in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park region. Registration is possible until September 22, 2026; late registrations on the event day are permitted. Accommodation options are available at the Klosterhotel Ettal.
