Race description
The König Ludwig Lauf - Summer Edition is Bavaria’s most beautiful panoramic run in the Ammergau Alps. The event offers varied routes from 6 km to 21 km through the picturesque landscape of the Ammergau Alps Nature Park. A free shuttle bus takes participants to the start in Ettal, and the event is ideal for trail and landscape running enthusiasts. The friendly atmosphere and well-organized arrangements make the run a special experience.

Late registration and race number collection at the start in Ettal on Saturday from 07:00 to 09:15. Online registration closes at 00:00 on the Wednesday before race weekend. The run takes place in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park region. Registration is open until September 22, 2026; late registration on the event day is permitted. Accommodation is available at the Ettal Monastery Hotel.
