Kleinbahn-Lauf

The Kleinbahn Run in Rhauderfehn is a fun run with no timing, welcoming runners and walkers on 5- and 10-kilometre routes. There are also children’s races for kindergarten and primary school children, enthusiastically supported by parents and grandparents. The 10 km loop starts at the market square and follows the Hauptfehn Canal, through the villages of Holtermoor and Rhaude, and along the Ostfriesland Hiking Trail back to the finish. The 5 km route also starts at the market square and follows the Ostfriesland Hiking Trail back to the finish. The run is a great opportunity to experience the region on varied routes.

The event is a fun run with no timing. Training plans are available for different performance goals. The event is open to runners and walkers alike. The run takes place in June, with typical temperatures around 23°C. Bus transport is available from Rhauderfehn to Ihrhove, and showers and changing rooms are provided on site. Competitions are also offered for children and young people.
