Kilometer für Kinder

Kilometer für Kids is an annual charity event that was launched in 2014 to support children and adolescents in need through sporting challenges. Participants accumulate kilometers by running, cycling, or swimming, which they then honor with a donation per kilometer. The project not only promotes sports but also social cohesion and the joy of movement. The goal is to give children new courage after life setbacks and to highlight the societal importance of physical activity.

Participants can assemble their triathlon individually, also as a team or relay. The kilometers collected are donated for a good cause. The event takes place in North Rhine-Westphalia, with the goal of hosting an event in every federal state in the future. Since 2014, the event has supported children's charity projects in Germany, with nearly 25,000 euros in donations so far. It promotes sporting activity for a good cause and is held annually in Pronsfeld.
