Race description
The Kassel Marathon is the largest sporting event in North Hesse and takes place from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Auestadion Kassel. The event offers a variety of competitions such as marathon, half marathon, power walking, relay, corporate run, and children's races. The marathon course includes 200 meters of elevation gain and runs through the city of Kassel. Participants receive a finisher medal and a free finisher shirt. Medical support for runners is provided by the German Red Cross, and there is a massage service after the race.
