Kappelseelauf Rentweinsdorf

The Kappelseelauf in Rentweinsdorf is a popular running event held annually since 2008 and has become a regular fixture for recreational runners. The event offers a varied program for all age and ability groups, from Bambini and schoolchildren’s races to Nordic walking and a half marathon. The varied routes pass through idyllic natural surroundings around Lake Kappel, along the Hutseedamm with views of the castle, and through Rentweinsdorf Main Forest and Eichelberg. Refreshments including drinks, fruit, cake and bratwurst are provided along the route and at the finish.

Race number collection and late registration on 11.07.2025 from 18:00 to 20:00 at the sports clubhouse, and on race day from 07:30. The late registration fee on race day is €3. Parking is signposted directly at the sports grounds. Showers and changing rooms are available at the sports grounds. All participants receive a voucher for a drink. Bambini and schoolchildren’s runners receive a medal. Awards ceremonies take place shortly after each race.
