Int. Schwarzwald-Marathon

The Black Forest Marathon in Bräunlingen is a long-established race that has been held annually since 1968 and is known as the world’s oldest nature and women’s marathon. The course runs mainly along well-maintained forest trails and offers a varied experience in nature, with a gentle climb up to kilometer 21 followed by a slight descent. In addition to the classic marathon, there is also a marathon relay, half marathon, 10 km races, Nordic walking and other races for different age groups. The event is ideal for runners who want to combine nature with a sporting challenge.

Late registration is available at the town hall on 10.10.2026 from 12:00-18:00 and on 11.10.2026 from 07:00 until 60 minutes before the start. Bib numbers are color-coded to make the different events easier to distinguish. No transportation is provided by the organizer for the marathon relay. Various race disciplines; on-site registration available; bib numbers are color-coded; the schedule may be changed at short notice.
