The International Hohenzollern Mountain Run is a traditional mountain race organized by the Ski-Club Hechingen e.V. The challenging course starts from the Hechinger Weiherstadion and leads up to Hohenzollern Castle, demanding a lot from the runners. The race attracts both beginners and experienced mountain specialists and is characterized by a special atmosphere with music and enthusiasm along the route. With over 70 volunteers and a large number of participants, the race is a highlight in the regional race calendar.

The race is organized by the Ski-Club Hechingen with over 70 volunteers. The course begins relatively flat and becomes increasingly steep from kilometer 4 to the finish in the courtyard of Hohenzollern Castle. The event offers a special atmosphere with live rock music at the start and musical ambiance along the route. Participants include both beginners and experienced mountain runners, some of whom have been running for over 30 years. Registration is open until November 5, 2025, with a shuttle service to the castle and a supporting program including an award ceremony.
