The International Hohenzollern Hill Run is a long-established hill race organised by Ski-Club Hechingen e.V. The challenging course leads from Hechingen’s Weiherstadion up to Hohenzollern Castle and puts runners to the test. The race attracts both beginners and experienced hill-running specialists, and delights participants with a special atmosphere featuring music and cheering along the course. With more than 70 volunteers and a large field of participants, the race is a highlight of the regional running calendar.

The race is organised by Ski-Club Hechingen with more than 70 volunteers. The course starts out flatter and becomes increasingly steep from kilometre 4 to the finish in the courtyard of Hohenzollern Castle. The event offers a special atmosphere, with live rock music at the start and music and cheering along the course. Participants range from beginners to experienced hill runners; some have been taking part for more than 30 years. Registration until 5 November 2025, shuttle service to the castle, and a supporting programme with an awards ceremony.
