Race description
The Idar-Oberstein Old Town Run is a traditional running event in the historic old town of Oberstein, held annually on the last Saturday in June. The event features six different races for various age groups, from U8 children to adults, with distances ranging from 370 metres to around 6.5 kilometres. The route runs through the pedestrian zone below the striking Felsenkirche, a city landmark. The start and finish are behind the Tourist Information in Oberstein. Entry fees are deliberately kept low to encourage broad participation.
