Horster Löwenlauf

The 2nd Horster Löwenlauf will take place on September 20, 2026, around Schloss Horst in Gelsenkirchen. The sporting event offers a lively and communal atmosphere for all age groups with food and entertainment in the castle park. Following the great success of the inaugural event, the race is organized again as a sporting highlight for the Horst district. The event coincides with World Children's Day, which is seen as a particularly fitting coincidence.

Regular registration is possible until September 11, 2026, thereafter until September 18, 2026, with an additional fee. Optionally, a running shirt can be booked (design to follow). The event lasts approximately until 2:00 PM. The event also includes children’s and toddler races, with a special focus on families and community. Registration is available online.
