Holstenköstenlauf

The Holstenköstenlauf in Neumünster is a traditional city run that takes place as part of Schleswig-Holstein's largest city festival, the Holstenköste. The event offers races for all age groups, from children to adults, and runs through various districts of Neumünster. The 10 km course is officially measured according to DLV rules and promises an attractive route through the city center, Tungendorf, and Brachenfeld. All finishers receive a coveted festival medal as a memento of the event.

Race bib distribution on June 10 and 11, 2026, timing with transponder (timing fee 3.00 euros, waived if using own BMS chip), race bib is non-transferable and must be worn at the front of sportswear, Holstenkösten mug can be pre-ordered (12.00 euros) and will be handed out at race bib pickup. Participation is possible for various age groups, registration online or on-site, race bib pickup in the foyer of the city hall, refreshments on the course and at the finish, award ceremonies in the evening.
