Race description
The Hohenlockstedt Boiled Potato Race is a traditional running event that has been held annually since 2002 on the Pohl-Boskamp grounds. With race distances of 2.8 km, 5 km, and 10 km, the race offers a suitable challenge for both beginners and experienced runners. The event is particularly family-friendly, featuring special children's races for kids and a varied supporting program with games, a food mile, and entertainment. The event promotes community spirit, fun in movement, and is open to individual participants, school classes, teams, and companies.

Additional information
Registration is possible on the day of the event from 11:30 a.m. at the start/finish area. Late registration for children and adolescents costs €8.00 and is possible up to 45 minutes before the race starts. Award ceremonies for places 1-3 in overall and age categories take place at 2:15 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. On the Friday before the race, the potato-themed program begins with the coronation festivities of the Boiled Potato Queen and an after-show party with free admission. Various race distances, children's races, supporting program, award ceremonies, raffles, after-show party, and registration from 11:30 a.m. on the event day.
