Hochgratlauf

The Hochgrat Run is a traditional mountain race on the highest peak of the Allgäu Nagelfluh Chain. The course covers 12.8 kilometers with a vertical gain of 714 meters and a summit height of 1,834 meters. In addition to the main race, there is a youth mountain run for participants born between 2010 and 2015 on a shortened course. The race takes place annually and attracts runners and spectators from near and far, who enjoy the challenge and the scenic beauty of the Allgäu Alps.

Youth mountain run on a shortened course from Staufner Haus to the mountain station (550 meters long, 74 meters elevation difference) on gravel/stone paths. Good mountain gear and grippy running shoes recommended. Registration on race day from 08:30 to 10:00 with a late registration fee. The first 140 registrants receive a 2-hour Aquaria voucher. Clubs with at least four participants receive an additional gift. Terrain includes mountain trails in the Allgäu Alps; on-site registration possible with late fee; participation conditions apply.
