Hochgratlauf

The Hochgratlauf is a traditional mountain race to the highest peak of the Allgäu Nagelfluh Range. The course covers 12.8 kilometres with 714 metres of elevation gain and finishes at an altitude of 1,834 metres. Alongside the main race, there is a junior mountain race for runners born between 2010 and 2015 on a shortened course. The race takes place annually and attracts runners and spectators from near and far, who enjoy the challenge and the scenic beauty of the Allgäu Alps.

Junior mountain race on a shortened course from the Staufner Haus to the mountain station (550 metres long, 74 metres of elevation gain) on a gravel track. Good mountain gear and grippy running shoes are recommended. Registration is available on race day from 08:30 to 10:00, with a late-entry fee. The first 140 registrants receive a 2-hour Aquaria voucher. Clubs with at least four participants receive an additional gift. The terrain includes mountain trails in the Allgäu Alps; on-site registration is available with a late-entry fee; terms and conditions apply.
