Race description
The Heumaden Volkslauf has been held annually in Stuttgart-Heumaden since 2009 and offers runners three distances: 5.5 km, 10.3 km, and since 2018 also a half marathon over 21 km. The course is a long, relatively flat loop with few inclines, passing through the districts of Heumaden, Riedenberg, and Kemnat. The start and finish are located at the sports grounds Untere Hasenwedel. The event is part of the family sports festival and features a water station on the longer course.
