Race description
The hella marathon nacht rostock is an atmospheric sunset run along the Warnow, with maritime flair and Hanseatic hospitality. The event takes place in Rostock in August and offers races over the marathon, half marathon, Rostocker 7 and a children’s race. The start and finish are at Rostock’s city harbor, where runners set off at dusk and finish beneath bright lights. The course runs through the Warnow Tunnel and IGA Park, among other places, making for a unique running experience.

Start times: children’s race 17:00, marathon 18:00, Rostocker 7 approx. 19:07. Finish closes at 23:30. Marathon participants must pass the Warnow crossing checkpoint by 20:40. Pre-ordered technical shirts are available only during event weekend; no shipping by post. Race packet pickup at the event center on Haedge Peninsula, Rostock city harbor, on 31.07.2026 from 16:00–19:00 and on 01.08.2026 from 12:00–18:30. Event in August, dusk start, various race distances, finisher medals, certificates available immediately, optional event shirt, chip timing.
